The Honeywell V8043E1020 is a motorized zone valve that includes a 1 In sweat connection.  A motorized zone valve means that the electric motor is equipped and geared with a valve stem so that when the motor operates, the valve will open or close. 

The V8043E1020 from Honeywell is a 1” Sweat Zone Valve w/ End Switch, 18” Leads. It consists of a motorized actuator and valve assembly for controlling the flow of hot water to a heat exchanger such as a radiator, convector, finned baseboard radiator, or in floor radiant coil for space temperature control. The V8043 5000 series valves provide two-position, straight through control of supply water at up to 300 psi operating pressure.

Applications:

• Hydronic Control.
• Use this valve in closed loop hydronic systems that do not contain dissolved oxygen in system water, such as fresh water from frequent source of makeup water. Valve designed for cycling (not constantly powered on) applications
