The Sioux Chief 827 series shower module is an outer-locknut design with no caulk. . On these models, a locknut attaches the drain body to the shower floor. The unique JackRabbit model uses jacking bolts to attach the drain without the need to thread the outer locknut. This is ideal for confined spaces.
It has an easy to install snap-in strainer that will meet all applicable load and flow requirements. The Sioux Chief 827-2B has a brass body making it durable and corrosion resistant. Snap-in strainers in stamped 430 stainless steel. The Snap in strainer has a diameter 4-1/4 inch, grid opening of 1/4 in, a screw centerline of 2-5/8 inch and a grid pattern of 2-9/16.
It's connection is a compression gasket seal 2 inch PVC or ABS pipe. There is no glue needed.
The Sious Chief 827 series is designed in accordance with ASME A112.18.2-2005 / CSA B125.2-05.
