The Honeywell V8043E1004 24V motorized zone valve that includes a 1/2 In sweat connection. A motorized zone valve means that the electric motor is equipped and geared with a vlave stem so that when the motor operates, the valve will open or close.
The V8043E1004 from Honeywell is a 1/2” Sweat Zone Valve w/ End Switch, 18” Leads. It consists of a motorized actuator and valve assembly for controlling the flow of hot water to a heat exchanger such as a radiator, convector, finned baseboard radiator, or in floor radiant coil for space temperature control. The V8043 5000 series valves provide two-position, straight through control of supply water at up to 300 psi operating pressure.
The Honeywell V8043E1004 includes a manual opener for valve operation on power failure; valve returns to automatic position when power is restored. The V8043E1004's compact construction allows for easy installation. This valve may be installed without disassembling, while the complete powerhead may be removed or replaced without breaking plumbing line connections or draining the system. The actuator motor may be replaced without removing the valve body or draining the system.
Applications:
- Hydronic Control.
- Use this valve in closed loop hydronic systems that do not contain dissolved oxygen in system water, such as fresh water from frequent source of makeup water. Valve designed for cycling (not constantly powered on) applications
