These shields are most commonly used for supporting already insulated pipe (whether with fiberglass, foam or rubber insulation) without damaging the insulation. These support shields are self-centering type, meaning they have a integral groove which prevents the shield from sliding out for any reasons.
Available in sizes from #1 to #10 for pipe sizes from 1/2" to 6" and insulation thickness from 1/2" to 2".
