The 12-760 from Zurn is a 1/2” Union FNPT Dual Check Backflow Preventer Valve w/ Atmospheric Vent. It's used to protect boiler fill water lines by preventing the reverse flow of polluted water into the potable supply lines.
Installation: Can be installed in a horizontal or vertical position downstream of shut-off valve and in available location for supporting servicing. Not pipe the vent port directly into drainage ditch, sewer or pump.
