The 645X4P from Sioux Chief is a 1” PEX x 1” PVC adapter. This item connects 1” PEX tubing to 1” PVC. Use crimp or clamp/cinch method to install PEX side. PVC side is installed in the same way as regular PVC connections (primer and glue).
